On Tuesday, September 30, Thomas Peter Shishkowsky passed into the arms of Jesus at MorningStar Senior Living. He was 91 years old.
Tom was born March 15, 1923, in Baker, Montana, to Gertrude (Varner) and Peter Shishkowsky. He graduated from Baker High School before enlisting in the Army.
As a Veteran of World War II, Tom shared his pride in his service to his country, even participating in the “Battle of the Bulge.”
In 1950, Tom married Eunice Burt and to this union were born 3 children. Tom and Eunice would have celebrated their 64th anniversary on October 8.
Tom’s career in wholesale plumbing and heating took him and Eunice to Billings, Miles City, Great Falls, and back to Billings, where he and his partners started Master Plumbers Supply.
Tom is survived by his wife, Eunice, daughters, Ronee Mills and Callan Burt, son Thomas Shiskovsky (Maria), grandchildren Donny Mills (Alyssa), Travis Kean Mills (Brianna), Dmitri and Katya Shiskovsky, great-granddaughters, Nevaeh, Kaiah and Aliyah Mills, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service is planned for Saturday, October 18, at 11:00 A.M., at Mountview Cemetery, 1704 Central Avenue. The family wishes to thank the staff of MorningStar Senior Living and Rocky Mountain Hospice and his pastor, Harvey Bybee, for their loving care.
