Anita Elings Redler, 67 of Billings, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 17, 2011. Anita was born on August 6, 1944, in Conrad, MT, the daughter of Donald and Grace (Yeager) Elings. She attended school in Conrad, graduating from high school in 1961. She went on to attend Rocky Mountain College, where she received a registered nursing degree in 1965. On May 28, 1966, Anita wed Patrick Redler in Conrad, MT.

Anita perused nursing as a career, working at both St. Vincent Hospital and Deaconess Hospital, until medical issues forced her to retire in 1999.

She was active in the church group that met at her apartment, where she played the organ at services. She organized and led an exercise group at the complex as well. Anita also loved to read and she cherished her grandchildren, spoiling them any chance she got.

She is survived by her children Pam Raines (her fiancée John Rudolph) and Jason (Robin) Redler, all of Billings; grandchildren Emily Huckins and Blake Raines, Abi and Carson Redler; her ex-husband Patrick Redler of Billings; siblings, Jim Elings, Lorna Tomsheck, and Joette Hicks.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Gwen Elings.
