Patricia Keever Obituary

Patricia Nadeen Conover Keever was born on the 4th of October 1942 in Denver, Colorado. Patricia “Trish” was the fourth of six daughters born to Elinor June (Mumy) Conover and Delbert Alvin Conover in Denver, Colorado. This is in part to why the number 4 was one of her numbers. In the Bible, the number 4 means creation. This number directly relates to the creative ability of God. On that day, he made the stars, the moon, and the sun — the physical elements that give light to our world. It is in the number 4 that he made our beautiful Patricia, a source of light and inspiration evidenced by the tremendous outpouring of care and love in response to her homecoming with the lord.

With her beloved Charlie, serving God was the center of Patricia’s life. Patricia used her gift of music and played piano for church and worship. She co-pastored with Charlie and co-founded the program, Up with Marriage, Renew Ministries, also God-Wiser Ministries, Living Waters fellowship. Patricia and Charlie would minister locally, traveling at their expense anywhere to help people in need. Charles and Patricia’s ministry was shared, where they co-authored their messages of faith with Patricia’s beautiful cursive writing in the margins, indicating the key points she wanted to highlight through their ministry for the perfect messages of encouragement.

Today we acknowledge the family members whom Patricia has joined: her beloved mother, Elinor June Mumy Conover (1919-2006); her father, Delbert Alvin Conover (1910-1986); parents-in-law Charles W Keever, 2nd (1925-2016) and Gloria Ann Mary Paynter (1927-2019); her precious sisters Margaret Eveleyn Conover-Clamp (1937-2012) and Lila Maureen Conover-Bishop (1939-2007); and her fur babies, Sacchi and Kinci.

Patricia is survived by her devoted husband of 37.5 years, Pastor and Chaplain Charles Keever; her son David (Steve Brohman) Brown-Conover, son Roger (Wendy) Brown, Roger’s children: grandson Jonathan (Sarah) Brown, Christina (Joseph) Frausto and “Happy Joy” Rachael Brown; her daughter Rebecca (Gary) Rickett, and Becky’s daughter: granddaughter Abigail (Erik) Dengler; and son Don (Janna) Keever and granddaughters Annabel, Adrianna, and Jala.

Patricia also leaves two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Ayden, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and the many friends she made through her years of ministry and social media.

Throughout her life, Patricia stayed true to her number 4. Patricia was a beacon of hope, shining the light of her love for God through her actions of encouragement and care for others.
