Yvonne Beverly Lutgen Harris, known to friends and family as Vonnie, was born July 12, 1936, in LaMoure, ND, and died in her home at St. John’s Vista in Billings on August 18, 2026. She passed of natural causes, surrounded by her husband, Joel Harris, and her children, Andrea and Mark. Vonnie taught in the Billings Public Schools from 1975-2000 and supervised student teachers at MSU Billings after retirement. A funeral service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Billings at 11:00 am on September 5.
