Vicky loved to cook and was the best cook! She loved to watch cooking and game shows on tv. Her hobbies were gardening, reading, and collecting recipes.
During Vicky’s young life she was an entrepreneur and supported her family with various small businesses. She had a small convenient store and made beautiful lamps made of seashells and they were exported to the US. She was a successful businesswoman. She was generous, giving to everyone, and caring that she always put the needs of others ahead of her own. Life was hard in the Philippines as single mom; she was a very strong and courageous woman who never let her circumstances defeat her. Her faith in God got her through the difficulties of life. She instilled in Jae a deep and abiding faith in God. She was a wonderful mother to Jae. She encouraged her to attend the best school in the Philippines and to follow her dream to travel in the broader world. She supported Jae in all her endeavors. Jae was her pride and joy. She strove to give her daughter a good life.
She married the love of her life Ken when he was serving in the US Navy in the Philippines during the Vietnam war. They separated when Ken returned to the US after his tour of duty, but they reunited when Vicky came to the US. They lived together for 35 years. After reuniting with Ken in Billings, Vicky worked and retired as a CNA at Western Manor Health Care Nursing home. She loved ken and devoted her time to caring for him until illness prevented it. They enjoyed many activities together; they loved four wheeling and going for drives. They loved camping and going up to the mountains. She enjoyed their twilight years together. Her family was her life.
