Sam Miyagishima

Sam Miyagishima, 74, of Billings, passed away on June 8, 2016.

He was born and raised in Billings, and owned and operated Yellowstone Glass Co. for over 40 years. Sam was involved in the Miss America pageant organization for 40 years, as well as the Jaycees and Kiwanis Clubs. He loved fishing, hunting, time spent with family, playing poker, and was Billings' own "super fan" at local high school sporting events.

He is survived by his five children, Tracy Jones, Jan (Paul) Holley, Kristi (Joe) Twiford, Pam (Jeff) Grutta and Guy Miyagishima; four grandchildren, Adam, Eric, Kara and Kaelynn; his beloved four-legged companion, Rascal; one aunt, Ritz Ando; and numerous cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at the Billings Elks Club, 834 Lewis Ave., with a reception immediately following.
