Rose Isabelle “Rosie Belle” Knisely, beloved daughter of John and Jordan Knisely, was called home by the Lord after three precious months, wrapped in the warmth and devotion of her family.
Though her time was brief, Rosie lived a life overflowing with love. She spent her days in the gentle orbit of those who adored her—especially her big sister, Pearl Reagan, who called Rosie her best friend from the very beginning. Her seven cousins surrounded her with constant affection, each one captivated by the tiny girl who seemed to brighten every room she entered.
Rosie Belle will forever be remembered for her head full of beautiful auburn hair and the joy that radiated from her small but mighty spirit. Her smile—wide, warm, and unmistakably hers—was a gift she shared freely with her Mom, Dad, and anyone lucky enough to hold her close. Her eyes were her most unforgettable features: intensely blue, touched with a deep black tint, like galaxies swirling with wonder. They were impossible to miss, and will be impossible to forget. She loved to “talk” to anyone who showed her attention, and she was never without it. Her sweet voice, bright gaze, and gentle presence brought a quiet magic to every moment.
Rosie could often be found quietly observing the chaos of her family’s life. Perhaps dreaming of the day she would enter the fray. She loved her Mommy snuggles and watching sports with Daddy.
Rosie joins her Papa Tom Cunningham in eternity. She leaves behind her parents and her sister, as well as her paternal grandparents, Richard Knisely and the Hon. Judge Mary Jane McCalla Knisely; her maternal grandmother, Sherri Cunningham; her paternal great grandparents, Roger and Sylvia McCalla; and many loving aunts, uncles, and extended family members who will carry her memory tenderly for the rest of their lives.
A funeral Mass celebrating Rosie’s life will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Billings, Montana, on December 31, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Rosie’s time on earth was short, but the love she gave—and the love she inspired—will echo through her family always. While Rosie now rests in the arms of Jesus Christ, spending her eternal life held in His perfect love, her light remains steady and bright, in the hearts of all who loved her.
