He was elected as a partner in the firm and served in that role until his retirement in 1995. Beyond retirement, Ron was a member of the board of directors for Stockman Bank for over 20 years. He greatly enjoyed his directorship and cherished his time with the bank’s family ownership.

In addition to his professional roles, Ron was deeply involved in his community. He was also a passionate supporter of many organizations, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County, the Billings YMCA and Montana State University in both Billings and Bozeman, Montana.

Ron loved living in Montana and was a true outdoorsman who cherished the Montana backcountry. He enjoyed countless adventures with family and friends, including backpacking, hiking, big game and upland bird hunting, fishing and floating rivers, skiing and sport shooting. Last, but not least, Ron was longstanding booster, season ticketholder and fan of MSU Bobcat Football.
