Ronald James Baldi

Ronald James Baldi passed away on Feb. 25, 2017.

Ron was born in 1929 in Denver, and adopted by parents Opal and Harry Bernstein. He married Jean Huddleston in 1946, and recently celebrated 71 years of marriage. Jean passed away Feb. 7, 2017, dying within three weeks of one another. As a young man, Ron worked at the Denver Ice House, joining the Navy at age 17, serving on air craft carriers. He was discharged in July 1949. Their son, William James Baldi, was born that summer. Ron then joined his father as a picture show operator. He joined the Denver Police Department in 1955, retiring after 31 years in 1986. He enjoyed friends at the American Legion and VFW for over 35 years. He loved to play poker, read, use the computer playing games, and spending time with family. In 2011 Ron and Jean moved to Billings to be closer to their son.

He is survived by son Bill (Teresa Kennedy), granddaughter Rebekah (Jason) Eddy, great-granddaughter Ella Eddy, grandson Benjamin Kennedy, sister-in-law Mary Melzer, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and stepbrother Herbie Bernstein.
