Robert R. Jensen, affectionately known to many as Bob, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on March 4, 1938, in Billings, Montana, Bob was the cherished son of Ray A. and Marguerite (Murray) Jensen. 

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Bob leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna Jensen, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. Together, they nurtured a family filled with love and laughter. Bob is also survived by his children, Thomas, Roberta, and Patrick. He was predeceased by his son Michael, whom he now joins in eternal rest. 

Bob's family extended further to his siblings, John and Louise, as well as his six treasured grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. 

Bob pursued higher education passionately, earning a Bachelor's degree that paved the way for a fulfilling career. As an administrator for the State of Montana, Bob dedicated himself to his work with integrity and diligence, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with. 

A man of faith and community, Bob was an active member of the Christian Church of Joliet. His commitment to service extended beyond his church; he was also involved with the Boy Scouts and was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge. These organizations benefited from his leadership, generosity, and unwavering support. 

In his leisure time, Bob found joy in the great outdoors, an avid hunter who cherished the beauty of nature. He was also a voracious reader and loved to explore the world through travel, collecting memories and stories that enriched his life and those around him. 

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on September 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Rockvale Cemetery in Rockvale, Montana. Family, friends, and all whose lives Bob touched are warmly invited to join in remembering a remarkable man who meant so much to so many. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Bob's memory to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, based in Tampa, Florida. This gesture will honor Bob's dedication to helping others, a value he held dear throughout his life. 

Bob Jensen will be remembered for his warmth, his wisdom, and the profound love he shared with all who knew him. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide his family and friends for generations to come.
