Robert D. Feld

It is with heavy hearts that we share that our Dad, Robert “Bob” Feld, passed away on February 21, 2026, after a hard fight with aggressive bladder cancer. He was at home, surrounded by the love of his family — exactly where he wanted to be.

Bob was born on February 27, 1951, in El Paso, Texas.

Bob began his career as a life insurance agent with Prudential, becoming a leading producer in the Montana Agency. He later moved into employee benefits and eventually founded his own brokerage firm. Throughout his career, he was known not just for his success, but for the trust he built and the lasting relationships he formed with the people he served.

Dad’s greatest joy in life, however, was his family and friends. He loved deeply and wholeheartedly, and he made sure the people around him knew it. Whether he was telling a story, listening to music, cracking a joke, talking endlessly about sailing, or sharing his passion for cars, he had a way of making every moment feel special. He never missed an opportunity to connect, to laugh, or to remind us what truly matters.

He so deeply cherished his granddaughter, who brought him immeasurable joy. She was the light of his life — and he even named his sailboat after her.

Watching him face this difficult time with courage and grace was a reflection of the strength he carried throughout his life. We are heartbroken, but we are also incredibly grateful — for the memories, the lessons, and the unwavering love he gave us.

Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rochelle Feld.

He is survived by his stepfather, Ron Hoover of Prescott, Arizona; his daughter and granddaughter, Nichole and Rachel Yale of Denver, Colorado; and his son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Mandy Feld of Las Vegas, Nevada.

If you feel moved to honor Bob’s life, we would be grateful for donations in his memory to RiverStone Hospice or Great Plains Gathering Church in Billings, Montana — whose care, compassion, and support meant so much to him and to our family.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
