Rebecca Marie Holbrook Armstrong was welcomed into this world on June 3, 1974. She was born in Billings, Montana to Danny and Susan Holbrook. A Gemini, both strong and delicate. Though she was born in Billings, there were many places that influenced the amazing young woman she was. Becky became a sister at five to Dinae Holbrook Settoon. Growing up together, they shared a love for rocks doing cartwheels on fifth and Clark, and dancing to music like Bon Jovi. As an older sister, a bit of torment was given too. Sending a Nene down the laundry chute or locking her and Katie in the closet. One could say she helped make Dinae the resilient woman she is today. During junior high school at Lewis and Clark she ran track holding the title for second fastest in the state of Montana. Aside from scholastics and sports, her teenage years would really be defined by her friends "the hair posse". The young rebels expressed themselves and did not care what anyone thought, they had each others backs always.
Formative years also took place in Seattle with her dad and stepmom Bonnie. There her love for the Seahawks and the smell of rain took form, and she brought them back to Montana with her. Rebecca became a Mother February 20, 1993, to a Spitfire daughter Samantha Kelly Pouliot, father (Thomas Pouliot). And a beautiful mother she was. She worked at a craft store for a short time, then began bartending at Helena ‘s roses Cantina with best friends, Joanne, and Annie and many more. Her years in Helena came to an end and it was back home to Billings when she came. Rebecca then worked at the old Red Door where she held a management position for 10 years. When she was 24 working there, she was out on the town and wound up at Bull Whackers. Christopher was the manager who then offered Becky a job. She then asked him to join her and her cousin Jenny out at Lake Elmo for skinny-dipping that night, but he was working late and said that he did not want to sleep with the help. So she responded “Well I don’t want a job then.” Later that night around 3 AM she came home to Christopher sitting on her front step, from that moment on they were inseparable. It wasn’t long before they became parents once again, this time together. She gave birth to Zhanna Marie Armstrong, September 7, 1998. The couple went on to marry June 26, 1999 where she also became a stepmother to Kyra Elizabeth Armstrong. Together, they raised three girls. They worked hard, played hard and loved even harder.
While the girls were still young, she lived out her dreams as a lead singer of Limited Slip with bandmates John, Ben, and Mike sharing a beautiful strong, singing voice for all to hear. Whether it was at the bar or anywhere else she worked she always made you feel listened to and she cared for. She cared about remembering your name it made you feel loved and seen. She also loved her companions, Buddy and Lexi back at home. Her passions were pottery, music, family, friends, and especially her husband Kiefer. Becky lived with a wild and bold spirit, like a wild stallion that could buck you right off, If you try to tame her. She welcomed anyone and everyone who would join her for the ride, and a wild ride it was. Rebecca is survived by her husband, Christopher Armstrong, mother and father Dan and Susan Holbrook, daughters Samantha, Zhanna and Kyra. Sister Dinae Holbrook, nieces and six grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her grandparents, Marvin and Marie Stark, Mary and Vance Holbrook and Uncle John Holbrook
