Ralph P. Burton

Ralph P. Burton, 98, passed away on October 12, 2011 at Billings Clinic Hospital. He was born February 7, 1913 in Altamont, IL the son of Robert and Effie Burton. He graduated from the University of Illinois and then served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was employed for many years by Schlumberger Technology Company. On October 27, 1945 he was married to Margaret Hammond.

He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, Marge; a stepson, Bill Hammond; daughter-in-law, Carol; son-in-law, E. J. Hood; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Elizabeth Hoffman; his brother, Marvin; his son, Robert; and his daughter, Ann Hood.

There will be no service at his request.
