Patrick Baker

Patrick H Baker was born in Lakeview Oregon on March 10, 1940, to Delbert Sheridan Baker and Francis Ann Berkshire. His siblings were Mike, Larry and Ann. He passed away on Nov 26th, 2025, in Billings Montana at his home.

Patrick married Marcia Kimball in Grant County, Oregon. That union included daughter Mary. After he and Marcia divorced, he married Elaine Clasby. That union included daughter Jennifer. Patrick and Elaine were later divorced.

On Aug 7, 1961 Patrick joined the Air Force, and continued to be enlisted for 4 years, ending in 1965. He was in 4628th Support Squad. Most of his time was spent at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska, and McCord Air Force Base, Pierce County, Washington.

After he was honorably discharged, Patrick continued his love of flying by getting his license. He went to college and earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration. He worked as an accountant until the late 90's and then decided to drive long haul trucks. Driving trucks was what he continued to do until his retirement.

Patrick is survived by his daughters - Mary Shilts of Wrangell, Alaska, and Jennifer Moore (Michael) of Gresham, Oregon; sister Shirley Weiss; 10 grandkids; 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mike, sister Ann, and great- grandson Landon.

Patrick will be buried in Willamette National Cemetery with full military honors on Jan 9, 2026 at 3PM.
