Patricia “Pat” Pearl Karst

It is with heavy hearts that we say our last goodbye to a remarkable fighter. After a long seven-year battle with cancer, Pat passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She joined Heaven's angels on Jan. 23, 2017, the same day her mother passed 10 years prior.

Pat was born on Aug. 13, 1940, in Martinez, Calif. She was the eldest of three children born to Richard and Pearl Larsen. The family later established the family farm in Grenora, N.D., which is where Pat learned what hard work was all about. She graduated from Grenora High School in 1959 and continued to put in heart and soul in to everything she ever did.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Pearl Larsen. Surviving her are her brothers Albin (Chris) Larsen and Gerald (Sharon) Larsen; her former spouses, Lester Albert and Jerome Hein; and her three children and their families, Tammy (Lucky) Seibert, Richard (Julie) Albert and Tanya (Allan) Hahne.

Cremation has taken place. A remembrance and celebration of Pat's life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, at King of Glory Church.
