Nadine Michele Loomis

Nadine Michele Loomis passed away at her home in Billings, Montana, on July 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous and lengthy battle to cancer. She was 58 years old.

Nadine was proud of her roots and the joy of growing up in a large, loving family. Cousins, aunts, uncles, and siblings surround her. She was especially close to her grandmother, even living with her for a time after her grandfather passed. She cherished the closeness of being part of such a close family circle. Nadine’s family gatherings were some of her fondest memories. In 1992, Nadine met the love of her life, Pete Loomis. They married in 1999 and built a life full of love, laughter, joyful presence, and many beloved animals, all becoming her children. She found immense joy in cheering Pete on with every hill climb, and she was endlessly proud of him for his accomplishments.

Nadine was a woman who never met a stranger, and whose spirit lit up every room she entered. She had a quiet strength she carried through her life and through all the challenges she faced. She has touched countless lives and will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing her.

Nadine is survived by her husband Pete, her father Roger Wimmer, sister Natalie Stein, her brother Brad (Dixie) Wimmer, father-in-law Joel Loomis, sisters-in-law Tracy (CB) Wagner, Stephanie Loomis, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Donna Wimmer, her uncle Stephen Wimmer, grandparents Roy and Mary Sansaver, and her mother-in-law Sue Loomis.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
