Margean Lyon Robinson

Margean Lyon Robinson, 96, entered the Great Beyond on July 7, 2016, in Billings.

Marge was born to James and Sarah Lyon in Pocatello, Idaho, on Dec. 27, 1919. She attended Pocatello High School, where she met her future husband, John True Robinson. They were married when John returned from WWII. When John reenlisted, the army sent them to Germany to help with the effort to rebuild Europe. Upon returning to America, John started his career at Continental Oil Co. They lived in Oklahoma, Texas and Montana, eventually settling in Park City.

After John passed, Marge moved to Billings, where she was active in the community, volunteering at the local hospitals well into her 90s. She loved to play bridge and entertain at her home. She had a lot of friends and was well loved. She will be missed.

Marge is survived by two sons, John T. Robinson and Jeffrey James Robinson; and one grandson, Bridger Lyon Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Robinson; two brothers, Blane Lyon and Willard Lyon; one sister, Beverly Stoddard.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 1241 Crawford Drive.
