Linda Langfitt Yakel

Linda Yakel, age 75, of Billings, left us to be with Jesus on March 2, 2019.

Linda was born on June 7, 1943, in Bremerton, Washington, the daughter of Edwin and Vivian Langfitt.

She was married on Oct. 19, 1984, to her husband of 34 years, Tom Yakel.

All of those who loved Linda, especially those from Cornerstone Community Church, knew that Linda devoted her life to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone she met and loved.

She loved her family, as well as her many four-legged friends. Linda also enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting and painting.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; her children, Karri Vialpando of Kalispell, Mike Bangert (Vicke) of Billings, Donna (Dennis) Drummer of Hazel Green, Wisconsin; her sister, Janet Mullin, also of Billings; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Edwin and Vivian Langfitt.

The family would like to give thanks to the Advanced Care Hospital of Montana for their compassionate care and support, as well as all of those from Cornerstone Community Church who loved her very much.

Services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at Cornerstone Community Church, 4525 Grand Ave.
