Letty Tyler Catlin Profile Photo

Letty Tyler Catlin was born in Billings, Montana on February 1st, 2024, to her devoted parents, James and Lindsey Catlin. She was the happiest baby and rarely ever cried. She had the most infectious personality and smile. Letty had the best scrunchy face that she shared with those she loved.

In late August of 2024, at six months old, Letty was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She would go on to fight a courageous nine-month battle against leukemia. Letty was adored by all who encountered her. Her amazing doctors, Dr. Mims and Dr. Ghosh, believed she had an old soul.

Letty enjoyed riding in her pink car in the hallways of the hospital, watching super simple songs, reading books, and spending every day with James and Lindsey. During the brief time Letty was able to go home in between rounds of treatment, she loved spending time with her dogs, Maverick and Oakley. While at home Letty enjoyed crawling all over the floor, watching her dogs play fetch, taking baths in the sink, eating butter and steak, and enjoying spending time with family.

Letty endured more in her short life than most will in a lifetime and she did it with resilience and grace. Even on days she was not feeling her best she was able to muster a smile or laugh. Letty brought so much love and light to everyone that she was surrounded by. Although Letty’s life was cut short the impression she left on others will never be forgotten.

Letty Tyler Catlin went to heaven on May 13th, 2025, while wrapped in the loving arms of her parents at home.

Letty’s funeral service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 2420 13th Street W, on Thursday, May 29th at 11:00 AM and all are welcome. A graveside service will follow at Mountview Cemetery.

We love you, Letty Bug! You will be forever missed.
