Leonard E. Stephens

Leonard Eugene Stephens, 87, of Billings, was born on April 1, 1928, to Irwin and Helen Stephens. He passed away at St. Vincent Healthcare on April 14, 2015.

He is survived by a son, Jerry (Joanne) Mayer; four granddaughters who loved and respected him; as well as eight great-grandchildren.

After retiring from Pierce Flooring, he was able to enjoy his passions of reading and golfing with his wife, Betty.

He served in the Korean War.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, daughter and wife of 58 years.

The casket will be open for visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 17, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Family interment will be at a later time.
