Lenice Byrd

Lenice Marie Byrd (Reichenberg), 77, of Billings, was called home to the LORD and joined her husband Jon Byrd, on October 16, 2025. She was a life long Billings resident, graduated Billings Senior High School class of 1966. She attended Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design before returning to Billings to help care for her sick sister. Lenice graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the Eastern Montana College(MSU-BILLINGS) with a teaching degree specializing in early childhood education. She went on to teach at HeadStart and was the head of EMC’s preschool program until the mid 1980s. She went on to open her own preschool and daycare, Rainbow Enrichment Center. Lenice also worked at Target for 20 years.

Beloved mother and grandmother, Lenice is survived by her children, Lisa Byrd, Ehren Byrd (Staci Byrd), Carissa Byrd (Mike Kelleher) and grandchildren, John, Dylan, Kate, Grace, and Carson. Viewing will take place Thursday October 23, 2025 from 11am-2pm at Michelotti-Sawyers. Friday October 24, 2025 viewing from 12-1 at American Lutheran Church with the funeral service beginning at 1pm with graveside at Sunset Memorial Gardens directly following.

Lenice was an avid lover of cats. The family asks donations/memorials be made to animal rescue organizations in lieu of flowers.
