Lelani Lee Calderon, born on March 4, 1969, in Safford, Arizona was sent to her eternal home on August 7, 2025, in Billings, Montana, due to complications of liver failure.
Lelani was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love and compassion. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Lelani is survived by her Husband Jeff, sons Matteo, Sy, Domonic and Eli, daughters Isabella, Trulia, Amaya and Abigale, her mother Diane, and her sister Aleaha.
After her graduation from Thatcher High School, Lelani attended Central Community College in Arizona, then Northern Arizona University earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education. She began her teaching career at Safford Middle School in Arizona as a 7th and 8th grade teacher. Jeff and Lelani married in 1993, beginning growing their family in 1994 with the birth of their first child. Soon after, Lelani began her true calling as a homemaker eventually raising eight children.
Outside of her full time work as a homemaker, Lelani found happiness in baking and cooking, arts and crafts, and the many adventures her family took throughout the years.
The Celebration of Life for Lelani will be held privately with immediate family members. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital at:
