Levern Malvin Stiller

August 19th 1942 – July 14th 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Levern "Vern" Stiller, who left us on July 14th, 2026. Born on August 19th, 1942, in Dickinson, ND, Vern was the son of Thomas B. Stiller and Rose Elizabeth (Kearns) Stiller. His early years were marked by the loss of his mother to cancer when he was around 12 years old, a challenge he faced alongside his siblings Shirley, Marlene, and Tom.

Vern grew up in the Dickinson area, working in his late teens for Henry Roen at the Roen Hereford Ranch. This experience shaped his strong work ethic and passion for the land, which would follow him throughout his life.

In 1964, Vern married Sharon Kay Wolberg, they had a son, Brant. Although Vern and Sharon divorced in 1976, their family continued to grow. Brant had two sons, Josh and Andrew. Josh married Reghan and recently had a son Barrett, making Vern a proud great-grandfather.

In 1981, Vern married Raquel Deleon. They had two children, Blade and Terra. Terra and her husband, Andrew Eaton, blessed Vern with two granddaughters, Penelope and Charlotte, whom he adored.

Vern was known for his exceptional skills as a salesman, with his favorite role being a landman. He thrived on the connections he made with people and enjoyed negotiating right-of-way permissions for the OneOK company. His ability to connect with others extended beyond his career, as he touched many lives through his volunteer work helping others. One of his lasting contributions will be continuously sharing his experience, strength, and hope for over 45yrs.

Vern is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Tom & sister Shirley. He is survived by his wife, Raquel, his children Blade Stiller, Terra (Andrew) Eaton, Brant Stiller, his grandchildren Penelope and Charlotte Eaton, Andrew and Josh (Reghan) Stiller, and his great-grandson Barrett.

Vern Stiller's life was one of connection, love, and service. He will be remembered for the many lives he touched and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
