Landon Adam
Ghekiere
Apr 23, 2011 — Aug 23, 2026
Billings, Montana
Wednesday
Camelot Ranch
Starts at 5:30 pm (Mountain time)
Landon Adam Ghekiere was born on April 23, 2011, in Billings, Montana, to Erica Jarussi Schneider and Adam Ghekiere. He tragically passed away on August 23, 2026, in his hometown. Landon was thoughtful, affectionate, sarcastic, witty, and intelligent; his life was taken far too soon.
Landon lived his life with curiosity and enthusiasm. As a toddler, he constantly wanted to help his mom and dad; to be a part of whatever they were doing. He loved to cuddle, and go to the park with his cousins. His curiosity and kindness only grew as he got older. He was never afraid to help his friends and family, and he consistently impressed us with his ability to make friends. He and his dad loved Marvel movies, gaming, and live music. He adored endlessly roasting his mother, finding any and every opportunity to do so.
Landon was not afraid to try new things. He played soccer, baseball, and enjoyed chess. With no prior experience, he joined the Billings Senior wrestling team, earning a place on the junior varsity team in his first year. He played the trumpet as a freshman in the Senior High Symphonic band, uncommon for his grade. He was eagerly looking forward to starting his sophomore year of high school and was particularly excited about obtaining his driver’s license and passport this month. He was so excited to participate in a Sustainability Living tour in Germany and Switzerland.
Landon's life was heartbreakingly cut short as he heroically protected his little sister. His passing, alongside his sister Charlotte, new siblings Chloe and Owen, bonus grandparents Dana and Barb, great-grandmother Evelyn, and mom Megan, leaves an irreplaceable void.
Landon is survived by his devoted parents, Adam and Erica, his bonus dad Danny, an extended family of caring grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his girlfriend. We will forever miss him and grieve for the life he didn't get to live.
A memorial service will be held for Landon and his sister, Charlotte, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 5:30 PM at Camelot Ranch, 8736 Camelot Lane, Billings, MT 59106.
To honor Landon, please wear blue to the memorial service.
