Kace Ray Deklyen

Kace Ray DeKlyen, 37, died unexpectedly while at home in Billings on April 23, 2024.

Kace was born in Pocatello, Idaho, to Peggy (Yacks) and René DeKlyen on Sept. 18, 1986, and later relocated to Butte, Montana, where he spent a majority of his childhood. Kace attended Skyview High School in Billings and graduated in 2005.

In September of 2006, Kace met the love of his life, Danielle Lang. The two were wed on Oct. 8, 2011. From this union came Cali (11) and Hayden (8) DeKlyen.

When Kace wasn’t working as a mechanic at the Stillwater Mine, he loved being with his family and friends, tinkering with projects in the garage, camping, being outside, barbecuing, and drinking a reasonable quantity of beer.

Kace was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Lee DeKlyen. He is survived by his wife and children; parents Peggy (Jim) Yacks, René (Penny) DeKlyen; his brothers, Johnny (Niki) DeKlyen and Scott DeKlyen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
