Juan J. Velazquez

Juan J. Velazquez, 47, of Billings, passed away on Aug. 28, 2023, at Billings Clinic. He was born on Jan. 14, 1976, in Hayti, Missouri.

On St. Patrick’s Day, 2012, he met his soul mate, Kayla Jones. He was the best husband and father.

Juan spent the last eight years working as a casino attendant, and, prior to that, as a carpenter and a roofer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Jose and Kathy; in-laws Julia and Dennis; his wife Kayla; his six children, Mateo, Juan Jr., Marcella, Natalia, Kelsie and Caitlyn; his siblings, Kevin, Soniea, Jennifer, Felicia, Tomas; and his in-laws Kaci, Shane, Udocia and Josefina.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, with interment following in Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park.
