John Korber

Our brother and best friend left us on Dec. 28, 2018.

John Korber was born on Oct. 25, 1947, in Billings, to Clifford and Eileene Korber. He grew up in Custer, graduating from Custer High School in 1965. He attended Montana State University before entering the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. Upon returning back to Montana, he worked on the family farm and worked for Kemph Ranch for 25 years. He retired to Billings in 2011. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and took several fishing trips to Alaska. He enjoyed reading and visiting with his neighbors.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brother William Korber, sister Lorrie (Steve) Niles, and sister Donna (Sam) Mohr. Nieces and nephews include Amanda (Ben) Shorten, Dan (Jaimie) Mohr, Andy Mohr, Kim (Ian) McRae, Alex (Andrea) Niles and great-niece and great-nephew Sammy and Kaylee Mohr.

Per John's request no funeral will be held.
