Celebrating a Life Well Lived

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Cook, a man whose love shaped our family and whose presence made every day brighter. For more than fifty years, he was the devoted husband of Carolyn, sharing a life filled with family, adventure, hard work, and unwavering companionship.

He was the kind of father who showed up—every game, every milestone, every moment that mattered. He coached Josh and Misty for years, provided a listening ear when needed and was a constant source of support. When his kids got married, he welcomed their spouses, Natalie and Kurt, into the family with open arms. And as a grandfather to Ty and Jake, he was pure magic. Whether he was playing games with them, sneaking them an extra treat, or cheering them on, he made each of them feel uniquely loved.

Jerry taught us what it means to live with purpose, to be part of a community, to care deeply, and to put family first. We will miss his laugh, his wisdom, and the comfort of knowing he was always there for us. We will carry his love with us, always.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn, his children Josh (Natalie) Cook and Misty (Kurt) Alexa, his beloved grandsons Ty and Jake Cook, his sister Diana and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father (Goldie and Alfred), his sisters (Eunice Kay and Cheryl) and his brother (Gary).

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, April 17 at Roberts United Methodist Church, Roberts, Montana. Memorials preferred to Joliet Little League through their account at the Bank of Joliet.
