Jeanne Smith Morrison was born in Polk County, Nebraska to Leonard and Louella Hogsett-Smith. Nelle Jeanne (her birth name) was the youngest of 10 children, raised in the sunshine and hard work of a huge working farm in the plains of Nebraska. But upon leaving the "farm-life" in high school she moved to Lincoln, Neb. Where she met, fell in love with and married Lloyd Wesley Morrison in 1948. Wes and Jeanne's first summer together was spent on a look-out Fire Station above Couer d'Alene, ID. Jeanne's first child, April Susan Morrison was born in Nebraska. The second child, Marlon Wesley Morrison soon followed after this young family had moved to the beautiful location of Missoula, Mt for Wes's Graduate Studies in Forestry at the University of Montana. Jeanne also received her B.A. in education from U of M while raising the family. The addition of two more children, Mary Dee Morrison and Melanie Jeanne Morrison completed this happy family. The Morrison "clan" has been in Montana for close to the past 50 years.

In 1973 Jeanne became a Journal listed Christian Science Practitioner where her life's work and love was based. She was a vital member of the First Church of Christ, Scientists, Billings serving as a board member, first reader and countless other church positions through which she could share her understanding of Jesus's healing words and works.

As a Spiritual seeker, she was fortunate to have traveled the world; from the pyramids of Egypt to the city of Petra to the bottom of the Grand Canyon on a mule. Jeanne was always learning and growing and eager to share her love of God with anyone. And it was this Love of God and Life that has truly touched people throughout the globe.

Also, her spiritual rejuvenation was often found by her trips to the mountains and her cabin near East Rosebud, where she and her family spent many happy times.

Her death is proceeded by her husband Wesley Morrison in 1987. She is survived by her family: April (Morrison) and Dennis Breitenstein, sons Kolby, Wiley and Michael Breitenstein of Billings, MT Marlon Wesley and Lisa Morrison of Hamilton, MT Mary (Morrison) and Mike Niccolucci, son Sean Niccolucci of Missoula, MT Melanie Morrison and fiancé Mark Lauwers of Billings, MT Patti Waddell our "adopted" daughter and sister of Billings, MT And nieces and nephews through the U.S.
