James L. Stinehagen

James L. Stinehagen, 76, of Billings, passed away on Nov. 9, 2015. Jim was born on Oct. 2, 1939, in Gothenburg, Neb., and graduated from Cozad High School in 1958. Jim then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Jim was a private pilot, agribusiness entrepreneur, and loved ranching.

Jim is survived by his wife, Chrystl; daughters Jolynn Stinehagen, Janna Eberle (Bruce), Catherine Nelson (Jay), Lyndsay Jensen (Drew); sisters Marilyn McNeal (Leigh), Shirley Hinkle, Ellen "Perk" Herrington; grandchildren Zachery, Megan, Jessica, Matthew, Hope, Alexa, Gavin and Taggart. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Martha.

Memorial service will be at noon on Friday, Nov. 13, at St. Patrick Co-Cathedral in Billings, with a celebration of life at the Northern Hotel following the service.
