James “Jim” Lahey

The world has gained another angel. Jim was born to Mike and Maxine Lahey on July19th 1959. Jim beat all odds pronounced by the doctor and lived a long and giving life full of smiles for everyone. His work at COR Enterprises made his life fulfilling with 25 plus years of service. It was here that he met the love of his life Betty. Jim was very active in bowling and the Special Olympics which brought him many trophies and medals.

Jim was preceded in death by both his parents as well as his sister Peggy Moe. He is survived by brothers, Mike (Cathy) Lahey, John (Linda) Lahey, Harry (Karen) Lahey, Sam (Christine) Lahey, Joe Lahey, many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Jim was very special and had an extended family with RSS group home caregivers and staff.

We would like to give special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on the 6th floor of St. Vincent hospital for caring and making Jim's last days comfortable.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 Thursday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Special Olympics T Shirt Fund, PO Box 81033, Billings MT 59108, or the charity of your choosing.
