Irene Oliver

Irene Oliver passed away quietly at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, Wyoming Sunday April 1, 2012 at the age of 82.

Irene was born March 3, 1930 in Billings, MT to Tom and Edith Bateman. She grew up and was educated in the Billings area. She received a business degree and spent her professional life in bookkeeping and accounting.

On August 10, 1959 Irene was married to Harold Oliver. They enjoyed gardening and travel, visiting the British Isles and Europe.

Their Christian Fellowship gave them a worldwide family which they greatly enjoyed. After Harold's death Irene continued for a time to host a Sunday fellowship meeting in her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Townsend and her husband Raymond of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, brother-in-law Stanley Oliver and his wife Margaret of Toronto, Ontario and sister-in-law Gladys Stockman of Cardiff, Wales, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, April 6th at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary with interment in Mountview Cemetery.
