Glen G. Sprankel

Glen G. Sprankel, 82, of Billings, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Billings Health and Rehab.

The son of Fred and Marie Sprankel, Glen was born May 15, 1934 in Billings. He served in the United States Navy and enjoyed a 40-year career with the Post Office.

Glen married Marlene Handeland on April 23, 1955.

Glen enjoyed going to country music concerts with his wife Marlene.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene; sons Dennis and Rob; and daughter Glenda. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jenna, Katrina and Evan; and a great-grandchild, Brantley. Three of Glen's brothers also survive: Richard, Robert and Don. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie; his father, Fred; and his sister, Peggy.

He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will begin at 1p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Interment will be in Yellowstone National Cemetery.
