GERALD EARLE KNIGHT
1950-2025
Jerry left a huge hole in many lives, when on Thursday June 5th he gained his wings and is flying high with the angels.
Jerry was the second child of Earle and Hazel (Sammons ) Knight born in Billings September 3, 1950. He lived an active childhood split between the farm/ranch south of Billings and Flathead Lake adventures with his family and grandparents.
A graduate of Billings West High in 1968 he had a short stint in college before enlisting in the U.S. Army and serving during the Vietnam conflict stationed primarily on the D M Z in Korea as a M.P. Always proud of his service he will be interred with full Military Honors at the National Veterans Cemetery in Laurel on June 13th at a 2 p.m. graveside ceremony.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Jerry was always ready with a quick joke and it made his day if he got a good laugh.
Jerry was proceeded in death by his younger brother Jim and his parents and is survived by his sister Judy (Dick) Fox and numerous nieces and nephews.
