Gary Lee Maas

Gary Lee Maas, 63, passed away peacefully at his home on Oct. 21, 2017.

Gary was born on Jan. 14, 1954, in Great Bend, Kansas, to George and Geraldene Maas. Gary attended school in Billings and graduated from Senior High School. He worked at the Montana Highway Department, then in later years at Aerostriping and Frank & Wetch. He was always a handyman/mechanic wanting to help his family, friends, and neighbors. His greatest accomplishment was being a father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldene Maas; brothers Glen and George Maas; and great-nephew Easton Sanford. Gary is survived by his father, George Maas; sister Gail Wichman (Kirk); daughters Jennifer Nelson (Eddy), Sara Maas, Heidi Pritchett (Jeremy); five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephew; six nieces; and his best friend, Steve Reiter.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.
