Eva DesinEva Elizabeth Desin, 88, of Billings died May 29, 2006.

Eva " Eve" Elizabeth Winters was born the eleventh of twelve children on April 26, 1918 to Friedrick and Juliana Winters in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She was raised on the family ranches in South Dakota and Colorado.

Eve married Andrew Desin on April 27, 1946. Together they raised three children in San Jose, California. She later moved to Billings in 1982. While in Billings she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up, especially watching them play baseball. Eve was a devout Lutheran and active member of Apostles Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Eve is preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, and one grandson.

Eva is survived by her three children, Julie (Paul) Hatzell; Paula (Kenneth) McCuaig; and Jody (Cyndy) Desin. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. One brother, Robert Winters, also survives her.

Funeral services for Eve are at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 1st at Apostles Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3140 Broadwater, in Billings. In lieu of flowers, memorials to her church are preferred.
