Donald died peacefully in his home on October 3, 2026. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Robert. Donald is survived by his siblings, Diana James, Douglas James, Dennis (Gwen) James, Darlene (Carl Johnson) James, Denise James; nieces and nephews, Jeremy James, Chelsea James, Kaylee James, Sara Johnson, Chase, Johnson; great-nieces and -nephews, Colt, Marshall, Emery; and great friends. Donald had a fulfilling career as a pilot and airplane mechanic. He loved to travel, and was an avid collector of scotches and bourbons. 
All are welcome to a graveside service at 1:00pm Friday, October 9, 2026 at Mountview Cemetery, Billings.
