Donald Arch Duffy of Greybull, WY, was taken home by the angels in the early morning hours of Good Friday, April 6th, 2012, at Evergreen Health and Rehab Center, in Laurel. Don was born to Sadie Bishop and Ira L. Dunaway on January 21, 1929. He was known as “Duff” to all of his friends and family.
As a baby his family moved to Brighton, Colorado where he was raised with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. At the age of 15, he joined the Marines and fought in WWII and Korea.
He is survived by his 2nd wife Fiona; and their two daughters Robin (Rick) and Shawn (Andrew); as well as three sons and a daughter from a previous marriage; Patrick, Michael, Timothy and Donna; and by two daughters, Bonnie and Karen; and numerous grandchildren. His greatest loves are his dogs, Minny and Penny and they currently reside in Wyoming with Shawn and Drew.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Wednesday, April 11, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
