Obituary

Diana passed away peacefully on Monday October 19,2026 with the love of her family by her side. Diana was born on April 25, 1953, in Missoula, MT to Eugene and Deloris Pachl and was later adopted by David and Anita Walter in Milltown, MT. The family moved around some and finally settled in Billings, MT. Diana graduated from Billings Senior High in 1971.

She was a single mom for many years and worked hard to support her children. Diana met Ron in the summer of 1985, and they were married on April 11, 1986. Together they were blessed with wonderful children; Kimberly, Ronda, Cori, Edwin and Anita.

Diana enjoyed working as a rural mail carrier for many years before retiring to be the best mother she could be. Ron introduced her to the game of golf, and she had a natural swing. She was a member at Pryor Creek Golf Club and was ladies club champion in 1995, 1998, and 200. She also enjoyed spending the winters in Scottsdale, Arizona and looked forward to seeing visitors from Montana. Diana's true calling was doing her best to take care of family and friends. I LOVE YOU was always her way to say goodbye.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years Ron; daughters Anita Hartman, Kim Carlson (Doug Winkler), Ronda Carlson and Cori Carlson; sons Andrew Drechsel and Edwin Walter who passed away last year.

Grandchildren include Tristan Walter (Kayla Keierieber), Brendon (Ashley) Cady, Destiny (Branson) Frost, Shayla Mascarena, Carson Morris, Brooklin Morris, Blayke Hartman and Blayze Hartman,
