Davis Edmond Archambault was born on July 25, 2008, to Jessica Lee Stevens and Sam Archambault. Born in Billings, Davis grew up with a strong and loving heart, always caring for those around him, a trait he shares with his grandpa and namesake David Stevens. Tragically, we lost Davis on September 21, 2025, at seventeen years of age.
Davis grew up the youngest of six children, Donnie Archambault, Justin Burd, Kaden Burd, Lane St. Goddard, Marci Burd, Ashley Burd. He was definitely a “mama’s boy,” never wanting to leave Jessie’s side. For many years, Davis slept with his mom each night, needing to be close to her. His eldest brother, Lane and the middle brother, Donnie, would encourage him to join them playing video games. Growing up, Davis soon proved to be a quick learner. He was independent. Davis, a true brother and best friend, The three boys were inseparable with Lane the oldest providing guidance as the two younger boys grew up.Davis loved the outdoors. He looked forward to family excursions to various parks, always with Donnie and Lane. Davis also loved to swim. Several years of his childhood was spent next to Flathead Lake where he spent many summer days in the water.
At home in Billings, he enjoyed time working at the family ranch and cruising around on his four-wheeler. Donnie usually joined Davis on the ranch along with their father, and they worked together. All of the brothers would regularly play basketball. Davis appreciated the presence of his older brothers. His father, Sam Archambault was a prominent person in Davis’ life, always supportive of Davis. Sam encouraged Davis at a young age to join sports such as basketball, soccer, and cross country and always do his best, encouraging him to recognize and cultivate his natural strengths. Once Davis put his heart and mind into something, he would push through to success. Throughout his early high school years, Davis participated in cross country and basketball. He also discovered his favorite subject, science, specifically the physics and the mechanical aspect. Davis studied at Billings Skyview High School as well as being part-time at the Billings Career Center.
His future plans were reflected in his classes, including an automotive and engineering class. Inspired by his Grandpa Chuck Archambault, his dad and his mother, their service in the military and wanting to follow their footsteps, Davis had planned to join the United States Army as a helicopter mechanic. With the strength and determination modeled by both his mom and dad, there was not a doubt that he would have been successful.
Davis was welcomed into Heaven by those loved ones who preceded him in death, his mother, Jessica Lee Stevens and grandparents Chuck and Vita Archambault and David Stevens.
Davis is survived by his father, Sam Archambault, his siblings, Lane Douglas St. Goddard, Donnie Archambault, Justin Burd, Kaden Burd, Marci Burd, and Ashley Burd, and his nieces and nephews.
Davis will be missed everyday, his mom and his grandparents will take care of him and make sure he's ok.
We love you, until we see you again Viss.
