Dallas Elliot Olson

Dallas Elliot Olson was born on Aug. 19,1955. He received his wings on Dec. 26, 2017, after a battle with cancer.
He was born here in Billings to Lyle and Echo Olson, along with his brothers, Sage Olson (Pat) and Roy Olson (Marcy); his sisters, Robin Olson Faith Bollman and Ione Ament (Mike).
He graduated from Billings Senior High in 1973. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force as a APG mechanic, where he was honorably discharged in July 1977 as a sergeant. He attended the United States Federal Aviation Academy, graduating in 1979.
In 1980, he worked for Hawkins and Power Aviation until he landed working at Corporate Air, now called Skysource, in 1983. He worked for the remainder of his life.
Along the way, he gained a daughter, Finnesa Johnson (Wade) through marriage. Then Amber Olson (Jay), Stuart Olson (Tiffany) and Felisha Olson (Andrew) by 1991. He took the title of being called Grandpa six times over.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Echo; his sister, Faith; and sisters-in-law Pat Olson and Marcy Olson; along with his grandson Phynx Harris.
Cremation has taken place. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave.
