Dale Jay Dalke, 57, of Billings, MT, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2026, at Billings Clinic.

Dale was born on September 24, 1968 in Billings, MT to Gottlieb Dalke Jr and Leoda (Black) Dalke. He grew up in Shepherd, MT, and graduated from the Skyview High School Special Education Program. Dale lived in group homes in Billings for the past 16 years, enjoyed playing cards, visiting with people, talking on the phone, going on outings, listening to music, watching TV, taking walks, and going on picnics. He especially liked nice clothes, dressing well, and making new friends. To him, everyone he met was just a new friend he hadn't met yet.

Dale is survived by sister Darlene (Don) Treweek of Kalispel, MT, his brother Dennis (Debra) Dalke of Shepherd, MT, his sister Donna (Denis) Best of Shepherd, MT, and his brother Dean (Unie) Dalke of Shepherd, MT, plus numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father Gottlieb, mother Leoda, and sister Diane.

Memorial services will be held on July 21 from 11AM to 1PM at Michelotti-Sawyers Funeral Home, 1001 Alderson Ave, Billings, MT.
