In Loving Memory: Remembering the Life of Clifford Thomsen (1919-2023)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cliff Thomsen, a remarkable individual whose journey through life touched the hearts of many. Born in 1919, he embarked on a life that would be marked by resilience, courage, and an unwavering love of family. Today, we honor the memory of a World War II veteran and a beloved patriarch.

Cliff’s life was defined by his family and also in service to his country as a Navy Pilot in World War II. Beyond his military service, Cliff was a devoted family man and worked tirelessly to provide a life full of love for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

He is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Christensen, and son, Jim Thomsen, who will forever carry his spirit, as will his grandchildren. Cliff was preceded in death by his wife of 76 years, Pat Thomsen; his daughter, Brenda Dennis; and his granddaughter, Shari Christensen.

As we bid farewell to this extraordinary individual, let us celebrate the life and legacy of Cliff Thomsen. May we find solace in the memories we shared, the lessons he taught us, and the enduring impact he made on our lives. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever guide and inspire us.

In honoring Cliff's memory, we pay tribute to the sacrifices made by all veterans, expressing our eternal gratitude for their service to our nation.
