Clarence Barta

Clarence Barta passed away, Tuesday, Oct.11 2011 at home from a heart attack. He was born Sept. 29,
1936, in Belfield, N.D., to Albert and Mary (Kudrna) Barta. He was the oldest often siblings.
He joined the Army in 1955, and was released with an Honorable Discharge in 1957. He married Monica Binstock on October 21 1957, and together they celebrated 53 years of marriage and raised three children.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Monica; Children: Tammy (Doug) McRae of Wright, Wyo., Tom (Robyn) Barta of Billings, and Tori (Bob) Jewell of Gillette, Wyo.; Grandchildren: Heather (Justin) Edwards, Shannon McRae, Tara (Benji) Milner, Justin and Connor Barta, Emily and Zach Jewell; Great- Grandchildren: Kodi, Jozi and Reo Edwards, Layla and Adalyn Milner; Brothers: Danny (wife Jamie), “Sonny” Albert Jr. (wife Beverly), Jim (wife Jay), Keith (wife Diane) and Allen (wife Janet); Sisters: MaryAnn Rausch, Shirley Belisle, Linda (David) Calvin, and Rosie (Alvin) Stadel.
A Vigil will be held on Friday, Oct. 14, at 7:00 p.m. at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, 201L at St. Patrick’s Co-Cathedral.
