Cecillia Jane Caudill

[gn_spacer size=”20″] [gn_heading style=”1″]Cecillia Jane Caudill[/gn_heading] Cecillia Jane Caudill, 96 of Billings, passed away Monday, July 17, 2006 at St. John's Lutheran Home.

The daughter of Joseph and Nellie Best, Cecillia was born July 11, 1910 in Kingfisher, OK. The family moved to Oregon before moving to Montana in the late 1910’s. She married Guy Caudill in 1925 in Broadus, MT. They moved to Billings in 1937.

Cecillia enjoyed visiting with people and traveling. She especially enjoyed her work as a checker at Clark's Market and Reiner's Market.

She is preceded in death by 2 sons Loyd and Estel Caudill and a daughter Yvonne Caudill.

Survivors include her daughter Joan Strietmatter and her husband Stan of Billings, daughter-in-law Gertrude Caudill of Everett, WA, 5 grandchildren, Steve Schieno (Nancy) of Billings, Sherri Rogerson (Doug) LaVerkin, UT, Tom Caudill of Los Gatos, CA, and Tammy Benoff (Mike) and Tim Caudill of Everett, WA, and several great and great-great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. Private family services are planned for a later date.

The family would like to thank everyone at St. John's Lutheran Home for the care Cecillia has received these past years.
