Catheryn (Green) Barber

Catheryn (Green) Barber, 91, of Sun Lakes, AZ, formerly of Lodge Grass and Billings passed away April 29, 2006.

She was born August 3, 1914, in Lodge Grass, the daughter of Ira and Martha Chatham.

She grew up in Lodge Grass and married Walter (Buster) Green. They farmed and ranched on Rotten Grass since 1930. After Buster’s death she married John Barber who , also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Walter Green, Jr. of Stanton, MI, Shirley Jones of Sun Lakes, AZ and Peggy Skelton of Tempe, AZ. Her grandchildren, Julane Tabbert of Billings, Jon Green and Jan Harzke of Sheridan, WY, Jared Green of Lolo, MT, Sheri Perkins of Benicia, CA, Jeff Perkins of Tempe, Al and Shannon and Darolyn Skelton of Tempe, Al, her sister, Ada Arnold of Gridley, CA and several great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary in Billings on May 27 at 11 o’clock.

Memorials may be made in her honor to Hardin Historical Society.
