Bruce Darrell Isaacson

Bruce Darrell Isaacson, 80, passed away at home, with his wife Shirley, of 59 years, and his daughter Rochelle by his side.

Bruce was born in Seattle, Washington on Sept. 11, 1943, to Darrell and Betty Isaacson.

Bruce’s family moved from Seattle to Anchorage, Alaska, then to Detroit, Michigan, and finally Great Falls, where he met his wife Shirley.

Graduating from Great Falls High and moving to Billings in 1966, Bruce was drafted into the Army in 1966 and served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968 and became a 100% disabled veteran.

His hobbies included trap shooting, fishing, camping and hunting.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell and Betty Isaacson; brother Lee Isaacson and infant daughter Lisa Rochelle. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; his son, David (grandchildren Kylee, Kiel and Kolton); and his daughter, Rochelle Isaacson (granddaughter Haylee).

Graveside memorial with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
