Basilia "Tessie" Chartier

Tessie was an amazing mother and friend. She was born in Yakima, Washington, and spent most of her early life in Washington. She moved to Montana in the early 1990s, and she is survived by her children, Matthew Alexander and Selena Marie (Mrs. Jericho Kister); and her granddaughter Quinn Grace.

Tessie touched many lives during her time and had many close friends and family members. She had three hard battles with cancer during her life, and had fought hard each time. She passed peacefully in the morning on Aug. 2, 2022, and will be dearly missed by all.

Her service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.
