Barbara Jane Sitzler, 84, of Billings, Montana, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. She was born on April 15, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Barbara had a lifelong love for animals, especially dogs. She was a passionate breeder of Rhodesian Ridgebacks and proudly showed them throughout the West Coast. Her dedication and affection for her dogs reflected the warmth and care she extended to everyone around her.
Professionally, Barbara built a successful career with H&R Block, where she served for many years as a district manager in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her work ethic, leadership, and commitment to helping others earned her great respect from colleagues and clients alike.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Dennis E. Sitzler; her son, Mark A. (Carmen) Ackerman; her daughter, Lynn (Tom) Robinson; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Yellowstone National Cemetery in Laurel, Montana.
