Barbara G. Carrier, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, in Billings, Montana. She was 76 years old.

Born on October 10, 1948, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Barbara was a proud “military brat,” whose early life was shaped by travel and adaptability. She eventually planted roots in Billings, where she spent most of her adult life raising her children and building meaningful connections in the community.

Barbara was known for her kindness, quick wit, and unwavering willingness to lend a hand. Whether helping a neighbor, crafting a handmade gift, or cheering up a friend, her big heart and infectious laugh made a lasting impact on everyone she met.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Barbara is survived by her children, Alyssa Rowell (Jake) and Thomas Beck (Rami); and her cherished grandchildren, Jadeyn, Evelyn, and Abby. She is also survived by her brother, Scott Curry (Liz), and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mabel Curry, and her sister, Kathie Curry (Mike).

Barbara was creative and resourceful, with a passion for puzzles, sewing, crafting, and staying sharp with word and number games. She loved going on walks and staying active in simple, meaningful ways. Her Presbyterian faith grounded her life in compassion, gratitude, and resilience. Barbara’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her, in the laughter she inspired, and in the countless thoughtful gestures she gave so freely.
